Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She competes currently with the UFC Flyweight division. She is also the older sister of the former UFC Flyweight champion and co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as a Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner by unanimous decision. Antonina later won the Silver Medal in 2007, a Bronze Medal in 2008, a gold medal in the year 2011, and the IFMA Amateure Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia started her professional career in at the age of 2003. She took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships in 2012, The Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's final bout took place at the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She was able to win by a unanimous vote. Following the league's dissolution in 2018, Shevchenko joined Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina made use of superior striking in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body during the final clinch.
