Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor, is a TV personality. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef, with her trademark spikey blonde locks and pump up personality, provides the basics of cooking that any person can master. Chef Burrell was a student and worked in the best New York restaurants. He also battled Iron Chef America and the food scene of Italy. While living in the the upstate area of New York, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied to earn an English degree and a Communications certificate in Canisius College Buffalo NY. I loved every minute that I was a student at The Culinary Institute of America she says. I was never able to learn or do enough. Following graduation at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and Chef Burrell spent an entire year in Italy doing research and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. When she was in Italy the chef acquired an appreciation for and appreciation for Italian culinary traditions. This had an enormous impact on how she views food. Burrell serves on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of struggling children. Burrell is also a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation celebrity advocate, where she promotes awareness of juvenile diabetics. as a speaker, guest and teacher Burrell travels throughout the US to talk about her culinary passion and professional career. Throughout Anne's culinary journey she has often said that I am so lucky to be able to share my true passion in life with others.
